Cette montre en édition limitée de la collection Legacy d’Accutron revisite un classique de 1960, disposant d’un indicateur de jour et de date « Q ». Ce modèle de luxe inédit, produit à seulement 600 exemplaires, se compose d’un boîtier ovale en acier inoxydable argent aux magnifiques contours rehaussé d’un cadran bleu foncé doté d’une couronne à la position 4 h, de chiffres romains gris et d’un indicateur de jour et de date accentué de bleu. Le tout est assorti d’un bracelet en cuir bleu foncé avec des coutures blanches. Renaissant de ses cendres et conçue pour l’avenir, cette montre s’imposera en tous lieux.

THE DATE AND DAY “Q” WATCH
Accutron’s work with the United States space program as well as the increased popularity of space exploration ledto the design of one of the most unique Accutron timepieces, the Date and Day “Q.”, launched in 1971. Featuringan oval shape, the watch is inspired by the 1970’s orbital style, with nods to the flying saucer shaped television popularduring this time period, as well as the 46 NASA space missions the brand was part of, including many orbitingmissions in which Accutron was integral for timing requirements. It was nicknamed the flying saucer or the up/down,referring to the placement of the day and date on the dial.
